Boyzone's
last single "No Matter What" became the bands twelfth top 5 hit
in the UK, and their follow up single "I Love The Way You Love Me"
looks set to make it thirteen. "I Love The Way You Love Me" is released
on the November 23rd and is the fifth single from Boyzone's double-platinum
album "Where We Belong".
The video for
the volcanic ballad has erupted from the heart of Boyzone's sell-out
UK tour, with the camera's taking a sneaky look behind the scenes
of the tour and taking a front row seat at one of the shows. Boyzone
are the first Irish group to have four number ones in the UK, leaving
U2 behind with three. However, Boyzone show they are the "Sweetest
Thing" by making a guest appearance in U2's new video.
At the end of
what must be Boyzone's pinnacle year in pop, the new single shows
the band stepping up a gear and leaving any competition with mud
in the eye, or a tear whichever comes first! 1998 has seen; Ronan
sing "Words" with the Bee Gees at their concert in Dublin, "No Matter
What" stay at the top of the charts for three weeks in the UK (and
is currently hitting the number one spot throughout Europe).
Boyzone's third
album "Where We Belong" go double platinum and reach the number
one spot on two separate occasions. Ronan beat Bradd Pitt and Leonardo
Di Caprio in Cosmopolitans top 100 men, a Disney Award for Best
Male Band, a sell out tour, an Ivor Novello Award for "Picture Of
You", three fabulous weddings, acres of press coverage and a 'partridge
in a pear tree'.
