14th June 2000 I wanted to say how pleased I am that the website has been updated. I often check to see if there are any interesting e-mails etc and was getting fed up of seeing the same ones. So thank you Recorded Devilery, good work. Thank you also to the boys for their message, though they are temporarily apart we all still want to hear what is happening. I'm pleased that on the whole their various projects are working out. If they all only ever worked together they'd never find out what else they can do. They deserve some space. I was sad to see all the messages on the chat board about Shane's alleged encounter at a club. I don't read that particular paper and would treat it all with a pinch of salt. Why are we so quick to assume the worst? Anyway Shane hold your head up and don't let us down. I hope you succeed with the racing. Ronan, your mother would be so proud. I have sons of 22 and 25, and I am as proud of you, as I am of them. I hope you are happy and keeping your feet on the ground. Stephen, well done with your single no. 3 is very good. I hope life is better now you are truly your own person. Mikey your single was great. You always seem more serious than the others, a deep thinker perhaps? Good luck with the album. Dear Shane, This is just really to say that we had an amazing weekend watching you race at Anglesey! In all we had about 8 hours sleep all weekend, getting up at 3-30AM on Saturday morning and driving to Anglesey for 8-00am to get to the race circuit for 9! You know I never knew that you could do a wheely on a quad bike until then! You did really well to get 9th on Saturday especially as you had a few obstacles to get round during the race! You did really well on Sunday too, finishing 7th. We were standing on the pit wall for both races and so got to see most things that happened! Got a bit worried when you were about to overtake number 39, leaving the smallest gap between the cars possible! But you did it! WELL DONE, we didn't get a chance to say it to you after the race on sunday but this time i managed to say good luck! Thank you! Looking forward to seeing you at your next race! Two years ago i entred the cadbur's competition and when my sister kathleen got a phone call saying that we won i went wild because my dream came true to meet you last may on the 30th 99,i couldent wait because it took me six years and i finally met you.bye love from annie xxxx Hi, it's me, Pamela, and what i want to say is while I'm proud that both Steo's and Mikey's singles debuted at the top 20, I'm so sorry that neither debuted at the top spot. Lots and lots of LOVE Vanessa I just want to congratulate Ronan for standing up to Keith Allen on last night's Jo Whiley show. What gives that pathetic man the right to "diss" (he used the word often enough but maintained that he wasn't actually "dissing") the music of today when all he can come up with is two hideous attempts at football 'anthems'? Vindaloo - such a lot of thought went into the words for that!! And as for 'singing' Jerusalem at Wembley - if that's singing then an awful lot of people have been getting it wrong for decades!!! Ronan summed it up by telling him he's "living in a mad world". If only he'd stayed in his own mad world and not subjected the rest of us to his biggoted self-righteous views. Boyzone and 5ive shouldn't need to prove anything to the likes of him but I'm glad that Ronan and J had the chance to put their argument across.
